About Us

The Judicial Commissioners Association (JCAT) was founded in 1999 as a
means to establish a uniform code of ethics, enhance knowledge of
Tennessee law, exchange ideas between members of JCAT and promote
professionalism.


Since its founding JCAT has developed more knowledgeable Judicial
Commissioners through its three yearly meetings where JCAT members
gained knowledge, discussed new laws, promote justice and equity in the
application of Tennessee laws for the benefit of the Judicial System and the
Citizens of Tennessee, connect with other Judicial Commissioners from the
95 counties of Tennessee, with professional training and development byhighly sought after experts in their fields.

These training seminars are held at least 3 times a year.
